Clock - Calling the Clock
In both casino tournament poker and ring games,
players normally have no set time in which they must act on their hand, until an opponent forces them to make a decision by "calling
for the clock", at which time the player must make a decision or his hand is
dead. After a clock is called for, one minute
is a common amount of time allowed.
